College Info Comes to Maryhurst

Thanks to a traveling program, kids at Maryhurst got to learn more about their higher education options.

We were thrilled to host Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority on our Dorsey Lane campus, where they opened their College Info Road Show truck to curious students eager to learn what choices they have for their next step into higher education.

Here’s how KHEAA describes their College Info Road Show:

Visiting middle schools, high schools, adult education centers, public libraries and other sites, KHEAA's mobile classroom provides a host of critical services directly to students and families in their own communities. Equipped with Internet access, 11 individual workstations, an instructor's screen and an outdoor projection screen, the Road Show uses state-of-the-art technology to connect students with the information they need to research, pursue, and succeed in their educational future beyond high school.

As part of our transitional & independent living services, Maryhurst often brings in external partners to make sure the kids and families we serve understand and fully explore available resources that can help ensure permanency, stability, and better futures.
