There are many ways to get involved at Maryhurst! Read through the list below and consider which opportunities best align with your interests and the time commitment you or your group is interested in providing. Once you've looked everything over, feel free to reach out to the contact listed at the bottom of the page.
Support Young Survivors
Group Opportunities -
- Join with your friends, co-workers, or family to Adopt A Cottage (minimum of 4 people). Your group will plan and implement monthly or bi-monthly activities in your assigned cottage. At least one year commitment is recommended.
- Spruce up Maryhurst – Landscaping and painting opportunities for groups of 5 or more during the spring, summer, and fall.
- Help at an upcoming event! - We are always looking for volunteers to help with the event. From things like Juneteenth and Prom to our annual Polo Match there is something for all ages. See all current event opportunities here!
Individual Opportunities -
- Birthday/Graduation Card Program – Help kids in our programs celebrate their birthday or graduation by sending cards with your personal message of celebration and encouragement. You will receive monthly lists via email and you can mail or drop off completed cards to Maryhurst.
- Donation Drives - Facilitate a donation drive in your neighborhood, church, organization, or business (info here), especially around the holidays
- Maryhurst Butterfly Garden - Help with planting, weeding, and caring for the garden alongside some of our children. Plan horticulture activities each week to engage the children and cultivate their love of gardening. This opportunity happens every Monday night at 3:30 p.m. March – October
Support Our Mission
- Host a table, sponsor, or purchase a ticket to our annual Journey of Hope / Week of Hope fundraisers
- Invite a Maryhurst representative to speak at your business, church, or organization.
- Host a simple fundraising event on behalf of Maryhurst

- Speak with a member of our Development team about leaving a gift in your will
Attention current volunteers! Be sure to log your volunteer hours here.
