Farewell, Melinda

The Sisters of the Good Shepherd's Director of Mission Effectiveness -- who keeps an office on Maryhurst's campus -- is retiring this December. Melinda has held the role for 42 years, throughout which time she has helped so many in their efforts to embody love, compassion, and empowerment for survivors. Her ability to encourage is unwavering, and she so often delivers the exact words a despairing child or staffer needs to lift them up. She is well loved across the United States and beyond. We all wish her the greatest joy and happiness in retirement.

Below are some photos from the ceremony we held in her honor!
