A Halloween Fall Festival!

Staff and volunteers at Maryhurst came together to throw a festival for our residents

However temporary their stay, the Maryhurst residential campus is home for the girls in our program. They stay in cottages and decorate their rooms however they'd like. It's important to us that the environment here is as home-like and conducive to learning and treatment progress as it can possibly be.

Something that’s especially meaningful when it comes to making our campus fun and welcoming? Creating opportunities for kids to just be kids.

That’s why moments like our recent Fall Festival – where the kids had a chance to trick-or-treat, get their faces painted, and play seasonal games – is a worthwhile and therapeutically valuable activity!

Thank you to all the staff and volunteers that made the festival possible. If you’d like to volunteer at future Maryhurst events, contact Mary Summers at msummers@maryhurst.org
