Maryhurst Renewal Hosts Community Night

Did you know Maryhust has an office in the Portland neighborhood dedicated to youth and family counseling?

Thank you to everyone who came out to Maryhurst Renewal’s newly re-deigned office in the Portland neighborhood for its first open house event.

More than 50 guests came out to see the facilities, which were furnished by gifts from Brown-Forman.

Maryhurst has a rich history in the Portland neighborhood, where we operated a residential facility on Bank St. until the 1970s. When Maryhurst began operating outpatient community programs, we wanted to return to a region that had long been a priority for Maryhurst – Louisville’s West End.

Today, Maryhurst Renewal offers youth and family counseling for households struggling with cyclical arguments, aggressive behaviors or other forms of conflict.

Each counseling staff practices trauma-informed philosophies and the team offers various therapies to improve family wellbeing. We schedule intake appointments within three days of initial contact and accept Medicaid. Appointments are offered in home, school or office settings.

If you’re interested in learning whether or not counseling through Renewal is the right choice for you or a loved one, visit this page or schedule a personalized tour by contacting renewal@maryhurst.org.
