We’re Opening a New Location!

The Grand Opening of the Shively Renewal Office is set for November 13

Maryhurst will open the doors to a brand-new Shively neighborhood office on November 13. The Shively office location will serve as a regional hub for Maryhurst Renewal, the agency’s programs providing counseling and wellbeing resources that empower children and families facing conflict or crisis.

The new 1000 square-foot office space, located at 1800 Neville Dr. Louisville KY 40216, will be open and staffed from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. It includes a program assistance office, three designated clinical spaces, and a communal workspace. The facilities have been remodeled and fitted with furnishings funded by grants from the James Graham Brown Foundation and the Brown-Forman Foundation. To help staff the office, Maryhurst is adding up to 5 new jobs throughout the calendar year, with the opportunity for further job growth in scale with the number of clients who access Renewal services at the site.

For the time being, appointments are required at the new office due to COVID precautions taken by the agency. At full capacity, the facility can serve 100-120 families per week. Individuals can inquire about an initial intake appointment or referral at www.maryhurst.org/renewal.

This office opening is an outgrowth of our commitment to making sure families across the city have the tools and resources they need to be successful. Right now, a little more than a third of our Renewal clients reside in the southern part of the city. We want to be even more available to those families and deliver on our mission to become a true neighborhood resource.

On November 13, Maryhurst is hosting a grand opening ribbon cutting at the new site, broadcasted on Facebook Live at facebook.com/maryhurstinc. The hour-long event will start at 2:00 PM, and Maryhurst leadership and other community representatives will be speaking. The event will be hosted outdoors, masks are required, and the event setup will accommodate social distancing.
